When you order new windows, you most likely will have someone install them for you. This crew will put the new windows in, but they won't remove the stickers. The tips below will give you all the knowledge you need to get stickers off of your new windows. You will also be able to use these tricks to get off any stickers that your children put on your windows.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Saran wrap
  • Baby Oil
  • Credit card
  • Cotton ball
  • Clorox wipes
  • Nail polish remover
  • Glass scraper
  • Cola
  1. Step 1

Try pulling the stickers off. Sometimes the new stickers will come off without needing any assistance. Do this before you move on to any other methods.

  2. Step 2

Measure a sheet or saran wrap that is slightly larger than the sticker on the window. Wet one side and stick it over the sticker. Leave it there for 5 minutes and then pull off. It will come right off with the saran wrap.

  3. Step 3

Pour some baby oil on a cotton ball and wipe it all over the sticker. Use the credit card edge to lift up the edge of the sticker and then peel the rest of the way with your fingers.

  4. Step 4

Take one or two Clorox wipes and hold over the stickers for a minute. Then use your finger nails (or the edge of a credit card) to lift the sticker up and off the window.

  5. Step 5

Soak the sticker with some nail polish remover. Give it 5 minutes to soften up. Use a glass scraper to scrape the sticker off.

  6. Step 6

Splash some cola up on your window where the sticker is. It will release the glue and the sticker will then come off easy with just your fingers.

Tips & Warnings
  • WD-40 is also good at removing stickers on many kinds of surfaces.
  • You will need to wash your windows after using some of these methods.
