How to Clear Under the Skin Pimples
Under-the-skin pimples are also known as cystic acne or acne nodules. They are often extremely painful, pus-filled lesions that occur deep within the skin, and, as a result, are quite difficult to cure with basic acne medications like benzoyl peroxide. To clear under-the-skin pimples, prescription medications and chemical facial peels are necessary, and are best done under the supervision of a dermatologist. Does this Spark an idea?

3
Try Accutane, which is a powerful oral acne medication that works from within to clear under the skin pimples. It must be prescribed by a dermatologist and taken under his supervision.

4
Have the under-the-skin lesions drained by a dermatologist. This is a minor surgical procedure in which the pimples are cleared by cutting them open and draining the bacteria.
-
5
Try a cortisone injection. This is an injection administered directly into the under-the-skin pimples by a dermatologist to destroy bacteria and quickly heal the lesion. This is the best treatment if you only have a few of the pimples.

There's a great product that helps stop cystic acne, especially it you treat it right when it starts, before it emerges. It's called Acne Stop and is sold online at a place called Original Skin Store. The liquid Salicylic Acid/Lactic Acid mixture is amazing for spot treating blemishes. I wrote an in-depth product review of it at Associated Content (just type Acne Stop into the AC search). I'm amazed at how quickly blemishes go away when I use this product.
