Step 1
Decide on a three to five day period which you will be able to try a new eating pattern. This pattern will consist of two parts; types of foods; when they are eaten. The reason for the time allotment is to give yourself the time to recognize which foods work best for you and give you the energy to push through each day and leave you feeling satisfied.

Step 2
Once you have decided on a day to start, You need to list out three to five fruits that you enjoy eating and possibly two you have not eaten or don't eat often. List out as well two or three fresh fruit juices you enjoy drinking. List out two types of nuts you enjoy eating, keep in mind that they need to be raw. Now purchase these items at your local grocer or better yet, a local fruit stand or farmers market. Fresh and local is preferable.

Step 3
Once you have purchased your fruits and such, begin your first day of the pattern change with adding more fruit to your diet before lunch. Now don't let this scare you because your breakfast will contain three courses the last of which will be left to you to choose, the idea here is to slowly introduce new healthier foods to your body without too much shock. The first thing you will eat is actually the fruit juice, the reason for this is that the liquid will directly enter your digestive tract without expending digestive energy and your body will begin to utilize it rapidly. Now that the juice has found it's place, there is room for solid fruit in your stomach. Eat a fruit, not too much but enough to feel full and take a 15 to 20 minute break before eating the last segment which can be a protein based food (i.e. eggs, cheese, oatmeal, wholesome cereal...) you choose.

Step 4
Continue on with your day and pay close attention to how you feel, how your digestion reacts, your energy levels, and feelings of hunger. When hunger does set in, I recommend snacking on the raw nuts you purchased. I prefer almonds because they are filling and very high in calcium. Also before snacking drink a glass of water to help fill you up faster. The purpose here, like mentioned in a previous step, is basically to cause yourself to eat more fruits. I have found that, nothing but fruits before lunch causes increased energy levels that are sustained though out the day. Typically people have issues with fruit digestively so by easing yourself into higher fruit consumption you can figure out which fruits work best for you and after five days you will start to feel more comfortable with your diet change.

Step 5
Take the next few days set aside and try different combinations of fruit juices and fruits to see which ones work best for you and what I mean by this is, fruits move quickly through the body and can cause you to feel upset in your stomach if other foods are in the way, for this reason juice first then food. So find the fruits that aren't upsetting and use those ones to ease yourself into more types of fruits because there are many. The rest of the day, meaning lunch and so on, do your usual and focus on the effects of your mourning only, the other meals I will touch on in following articles. Lastly, more fruits in the mourning will bring more energy and focus to your day which obviously increases your productivity and stamina leading to higher success in your business.
