Things You'll Need:

Step 2
If you have a high school degree and a nice personality, simply prepare a resume that shows you like to help people, have a nice personality, and have some basic computer skills. Then go to the hotel in person and give your resume to the Human Resources Department. The key is to dress professinally and go in person. These front office jobs pay from $10-$14 an hour or more depending on the city.

Step 3
If you are looking for more money and have a bit of sales experience, you may land a hotel job that pays 40-60K per year. Go to www.aprinda.com for some free hotel sales courses, and then go to www.hcareers.com to get a list of all kinds of hotel sales jobs. Just be sure to type in hotel sales and hospitality into the drop down boxes.

on 8/29/2009 I took the www.aprinda.com course and it worked well. I landed 3 interviews fairly quickly. I got a job with Holiday Inn for 42 thousand, free meals, and dry cleaning. I am now looking to land a job with Embassy Suites for a lot more money...asking for 58 thousand and bonus.
