Just some tips to be better than your peers

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

If you are a student, do you experience a feeling that however hard you work, some of your peers are always ahead of the curve and outperform you in your grades? Well, here is a tip to stay one step ahead of your fellow classmates.

  2. Step 2

In a class of 50, there will always be 4-5 students, who are extremely intelligent and will always obtain excellent grades irrespective of the amount of work that they put in. There will also be 4-5 students who normally chill out and do not care about their grades. So your competition is the remaining 40 students who are vying to get on top.

  3. Step 3

Whether you are studying for an exam or whether you are writing a report, always ask this question: "Will an average person (among the 40 students) in my class be able to do what I am doing?". If the answer to this question is YES, then you need to step up and increase your effort to reach the next level.

  4. Step 4

There is no substitute for hard work. The difference between you being considered one among the rest and the best among the rest is the additional mile that you run.

  5. Step 5

In fact, the question "Will an average person be able to do what I am doing?" should be considered by anyone who wants to reach the top of the ladder. Ask this question to yourself again and again till the answer to this question is NO. Then you will realize that you are no longer among the herd, but you are leading the herd.
