How to Hook up a Dvd Player

Having difficulties hooking up your dvd player? In just a few steps you will be sitting on your couch enjoying all those movies.

Things You'll Need

• TV
• DVD Player
• AV cables (Red, White, and Yellow cables usually comes with player.)

Instructions

1. 

   Plug the red, white and yellow cables into the back of your dvd player. They should be color coded on the back of the player. (The yellow will supply the video, and the red and white will supply the audio.)

2. 

   Next you will plug the other end of the cable into your TV. (Any input is ok. they will usually be named video 1, video 2, video 3 or input 1, input 2, input 3.)Again they should be color coded on the back of the TV.

3. After that you will now plug in the power cord to your DVD player. Turn Your TV on and change it to the input that you plugged the DVD player into. (The button on your TV or TV remote to change the input will say source, input or TV/Video.)

4. After you get to the right input turn your DVD player on, insert a movie and enjoy the show.
