Make an Awesome Chicken Sandwich

One of my favorite sandwiches to get at a deli is a grilled chicken sandwich, marinated in balsamic vinegar, with fresh mozzarella and roasted red pepper.

Subway doesn't offer a sandwich like this, but fear not, it's easy to make at home yourself. I make this sandwich and watch my favorite MLB games with a cold beer. Life doesn't get much better. I've listed the recipe below.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Grilled chicken breast
  • Fresh mozzarella
  • Balsamic vinegar
  • A roll
  • Roasted Red Pepper
  1. Step 1

Marinate a slice of chicken breast for at least an hour. I find that the longer that you marinate the chicken, the better it tastes. Just make sure that the chicken is in the fridge while you are marinating. Turn on the grill to medium-hot. Grill the chicken up to your liking. Don't overcook the chicken. Toast the sliced roll while the chicken is grilling.

  2. Step 2

When the chicken is grilled, and the roll is toasted, stack the chicken on the roll. Add the fresh mozzarella, and roasted red pepper. Extra condiments are not necessary, but if you want to try some modifications, feel free to do so. You can not go wrong with this amazingly awesome sandwich.

  3. Step 3

Sit back, and enjoy the best chicken sandwich that you have ever eaten. Turn on the tube, grab a beer, and let summer and baseball begin!

Tips & Warnings
  • Don't burn the chicken
  • Make sure to get fresh mozzarella, as it truly makes the sandwich
