You need to be comfortable in your own skin. This is the only way to really know what you want. I think the best way to accomplish this is to take a personality test. You will be one of sixteen personality types. Each personality has a perfect match. Google a personality, compatibility chart when you finish the test. This will give you an idea of a personality to look for. If you are someone that uses drugs and alcohol habitually, it will be harder for you to identify yourself. Therefore, going out and getting drunk to build confidence or for whatever reason, may alter your personality and lead away from the objective. You really want to get it right from the start and not waste your time with the wrong girl. Next thing you know, you are 40 years old.

Remember to always stay true to yourself. This is a key component that shows you are independent and ready for a lady. A girl wants a guy that is in control of himself. An obvious tip is to stay active, exercise, and eat right. You want to get the best out of your brain and body. The goal is to make yourself marketable. Bring out the best of yourself. This will keep confidence levels high, keep you healthy, and get you a top notch chick.

Use your ammo wisely. Now that you are confident, be humble. When you're going about everyday life, don't stare at women and never look below the neck, especially when engaged in conversation. This will teach you to be more respectful and disaplined, which will make your presence righteous. It will also make you different than the average guy. When you see a lady, try to smile naturally with brief and precise eye contact. This will keep you and the right girl positive, and most importantly, relaxed.

Now that you are getting used to the female atmosphere, what do you do when you find one you like? Now it is time to "break the ice". This is the hardest part for anyone. The key is to adapt a light and funny mentality to your own personality type. Get used to three or four lines and modify them to whatever scenario you are in (grocery store, library, club, etc..). Be natural, you want a girl that wants you for you. Don't take things personal and just have fun. It is an accomplishment either way.
