Things You'll Need:
- Crock Pot
- Bag of Frozen Chicken Breasts (+3 lbs)

Step 1
To make healthy shredded chicken, first set your crock pot to either the 8, 10, or 12 hour setting. We typically use the 8 hour setting and it comes out wonderful.

Next, it is time to make healthy shredded chicken out of frozen chicken. Take all of the frozen chicken breasts in the bag and put them in the crock pot. If you are cooking for a smaller crowd, use half of a bag.

Step 3
Add a half cup of water to the crock pot, cover it, and let it go to work. The chicken will naturally start to fall apart, do not remove the water created from the breasts thawing. At the 8 hour mark, use 2 forks to easily turn the breasts into shredded chicken - this should be effortless.

Step 4
Enjoy the healthy shredded chicken cold or warm in any way you can imagine. Most often we add a package of taco seasoning, grab some tortillas, lettuce, sour cream, cheese, salsa and make it a mexican night. This is an easy way to make a large meal for your family with very little effort.
