A sperm bank will buy your sperm once you are accepted into their program. Whether for financial or other personal reasons you decide to do this. It takes from about 1 week to 6 months depending on the sperm bank you use and you can make anywhere from a few dollars to thousands of dollars a year doing this. Here's the steps you need to go through to get accepted and get paid.

        You need to search for a local sperm donor bank. Once you find one apply to their donor program. Sperm banks have varying requirements. A good quality sperm bank will pay you the most, but require more samples from you. If you can't find one ask your doctor for the location of a local sperm donor bank.

        Sperm bank requirements include:
        You should be tall, at least 5' 9" Most Moms want tall donors
        You should be between 18 and 40. Sorry, most places want donations from younger men.
        Don't be fat, your weight should be proportionate to your height.
        You should be well educated, the more eductation the better
        You should not be adopted.
        You should be able to provide a deposit 4-6 times a month for 6 months
        You should have no deseases such as hepatitus, HIV, Herpes or any other desease that can affect a baby

        Once you have found a local sperm bank and apply to to become a sperm donor. Usually they will screen you over the phone, and if you pass that will invite you in to fill out a questionnaire and possibly take an initial semen sample.

        The sperm bank will test your sample for count, motility, freeze-ability and deformity. If they look good you will be invited back to the sperm bank for another round of testing.

        The sperm bank will do more tests including a blood test and a urine test. Most likely you will leave yet another sample at the sperm bank.

        The sperm bank will thoroughly test you for diseases, STDs and genetic problems, and, if they are all negative you will be asked to sign a contract to become a sperm donor.

        Generally a sperm bank will have you agree to providing 1-2 'deposits' a week for up to 6 months. If you agree to this you can start making money in as little as a week or two.

    • Once you become a donor you must be abstinent 5 days before giving a deposit at the sperm bank

    • Your contract will free you of any financial responsibilities from children born from your sperm
