How to Get Your Own Google Account
Creating a Google account only takes a few moments and gives you access to the many Google services available. This includes Gmail, iGoogle, Picasa, groups, Docs, Calendar, Sites, Reader and Google Plus. The Google services available to everyone, such as Google Search and Translate, are also enhanced with a Google account. It's possible to customize your preferences for all of Google's services. With a Google account, any preferences you set on one computer are remembered on other devices after you sign in.

Open your favorite Web browser and navigate to the Google website. Click the "Sign In" link at the top left.

Click the "Create an account" link on the left side of the page. Enter the required details, including name, user name, password and date of birth.

Enter any optional details you want to fill in. Enter the verification image and click the check box. Click "Create account."
