Having a hangover is terrible. And when you have one, you want it to be gone NOW! Here are some tips try to get rid of your hangover!

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Drink plenty of fluids. Water or a sport drink like Gatorade or Powerade work great. They have electrolytes in them to help dehydrate you.

  2. Step 2

    Eat fresh fruits. Fresh fruits have nutrients and electrolytes to help replenish your body. Bananas are a great idea!

  3. Step 3

    Eggs contain enzymes that combat the toxic by-products of alcohol which are being metabolized by the liver.

  4. Step 4

    Try a teaspoon of honey, or mix honey in with a glass of tea.

  5. Step 5

    Eat mineral rich food, like canned fish or pickles. Some even drink pickle juice.

  6. Step 6

    Drink a Bloody Mary - these are made with vodka and tomato juice.

  7. Step 7

    Eat something sugary because alcohol lowers your blood sugar level.

  8. Step 8

    Take a shower & brush your teeth. Some say that alternating between hot and cold water will help. Once you are clean, you will feel better!

  9. Step 9

    Sleep!!!

Tips & Warnings
  • Remember, everyone's body works differently. Something that might work for you, might not work for someone else.
  • Don't drink coffee - it can dehydrate you.
  • Avoid caffeine - this can dehydrate you as well.
  • Try not to resort to Tylenol or ibuprofen. The effects will be magnified with the alcohol in your system.
  • Do not drink too much water. Excessive water can kill you. Be reasonable in the amount of liquids you consume.
