How to Find Book Summaries and Notes Online

There are a number of websites to find free online book summaries and review of books. Most of these sites are open to anyone and anyone can contribute to the summaries database. If the library doesn't have your book; or you simply don't have time to read the full book; these free book summaries site can help.

You can find book notes and reviews, plot summaries, book reports and book analysis. It's always better to buy the book and read it at your own pace, but if you are short on time here are some online book sites that can be very handy.

  Find book summaries at any online bookstores or at Amazon Books. These stores carry summaries for Textbooks, Literature, Poetry, Drama, and Nonfiction books among others. Once you buy the summaries most stores offer online download. This feature gives you immediate access to the summaries.

  For free online book summaries visit CliffsNotes.com. This popular site has thousands of online book summaries and book reviews in its database. You can find textbook, drama, geometry and mathe notes. (See Resources below this article for a direct link to Cliffs Notes)

  Look for free book summaries online at Wikisummaries.org. This is an open community and anyone can contribute to the summaries. It has categories for New Book and for Popular Book summaries and you can print these summaries directly from wiki database.

  SparkNotes.com from Barnes and Noble is another free online book summary site. Here, you can browse by subject matter or by the week's top ten notes. From Huckleberry Finn to Hamlet, SparkNotes has a high volume of book summaries in its database. You can find Shakespeare's chapter by chapter summaries and many more book summaries.
