How many ever picked a daisy and plucked its petals playing, "He loves me!" "He loves me not!" When you get to the last petal then you know the answer!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

CREATE! Create your own daisy flower for the card. Pick a color of construction paper and fold it in half. This is going to be your card background. Cut a yellow circle or heart shape and glue it on the front of the card. Allow room to place your white flower petals around the yellow circle. Cut an odd number of petals of your choice.

  2. Step 2

FUN! On the BACK of each petal write something you love about your special someone, a chore you'll do or an outing you can attend together.

  3. Step 3

IDEAS! Write "Luv your smile", "Do dishes ****" "On Your Pillow" (Place a rose and a few candies.) "You are my sunshine!" You get the idea, be creative! You are only limited to your own imagination!

  4. Step 4

Paste the oval pieces around the yellow circle in random order. However, only glue the bottom tip of the petal behind the yellow circle, so it can be plucked like a real daisy. Inside the card write a poem or tell them how much you love your special someone.

  5. Step 5

When it is time to give your sweetheart their card, have them pluck the petals one by one repeating, "He/She loves me", "He/She loves me not". They keep the ones that are loves me. You collect the 'loves me not' petals. What's the catch? It doesn't matter where the person starts or ends they get whatever is on the back of the "He loves me" petals they pluck.

Tips & Warnings
  • SWEETEN THE DAY! The other petals you can keep or if you really want to show how much you love them, give him or her all the petals plucked! Just tell him or her there is no such thing as loves me not! It's a fun game!
  • Make sure he or she starts by saying, "He/She loves me." Use an odd number of petals that your loved one will end on a "He/She loves me" note!
