How to Make Corn Bread

Great with your favorite chilli or as corn Bread Muffins!

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1- Cup Corn Meal
  • 1- Cup All Purpose Flour
  • 1/4 Cup Sugar
  • 1- TBSP Baking Powder
  • 1- TS Salt
  • 1- Cup Milk
  • 1/3 Cup Canola Oil
  • 1- Egg
  • Cooking Spray
  1. Step 1

    * 1- Cup Corn Meal
    * 1- Cup All Purpose Flour
    * 1/4 Cup Sugar
    * 1- TBSP Baking Powder
    * 1- TS Salt
    * 1- Cup Milk
    * 1/3 Cup Canola Oil
    * 1- Egg
    * Cooking Spray

  2. Step 2

    Preheat Oven to 350 Degrees

    If making pan bread spray 8" x 8"

    For muffins place paper cups in muffin cups..

  3. Step 3

    In Large bowl mix together corn meal, flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Set aside..

  4. Step 4

    In medium bowl add 1 egg lightly beaten, 1 cup milk and 1/3 canola oil.

  5. Step 5

    With wooden spoon mix wet ingredients in to dry ingredients, mix well.

  6. Step 6

    Pour mixture in to baking pan or muffin cups. For muffin cups fill to 1/2 as muffins will rise.

  7. Step 7

    Bake at 350 degrees for 15 - 20 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.

  8. Step 8

    Serve with honey butter. Which ever you choose to make very easy make and yummy!!!!
