Your teenager is going on a summer mission's trip, how exciting, but how are you going to raise the money to pay for it. Mission's trips are a life changing opportunity. They help to teach your teenager volunteer service, compassion, and humility. Perhaps even cause your teenager to appreciate everything you provide. Unfortunately, mission's trips can be expensive, how can raise that much money in just a few months?

Write a letter sharing the details of your teen mission's trip and your motivation for going. Really sign each letter.

Send a copy of the letter to family friends, relatives, members of your congregation, school teachers, and fellow employees if you have a job.

Sell candy bars door to door in the neighborhood. Buy cases at discount wholesale or membership stores and double your money on each bar sold. Ask if you can also sell candy bars at school, sporting events, outside stores or restaurants.

Create a website, add information to your myspace, facebook, or write an ehow article telling people how to donate to your missions trip.

Ask local churches if you can have five-minutes during Sunday announcements to tell about your missions trip to gain support.
