Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Vanilla soy milk
  • Frozen peeled banana
  • Chopped fresh fruit
  • Plain soy yogurt
  • Soy protein powder
  • Blender
  • Rubber spatula
  • Chilled glass
  1. Step 1

Combine ¾ cup vanilla soy milk, ½ frozen banana, 1/3 cup chopped fruit, ¼ cup plain soy yogurt, and two tablespoons soy protein powder in a blender. Use cantaloupe, nectarine, strawberries, or any other fruit you have one hand to make the soy shake. Or, use a mixed fruit blend. For a lighter soy shake, use low-fat milk and yogurt. Try flavored yogurt for more flavor.

  2. Step 2

Place lid on blender. Blend on low speed until the mixture is smooth, about 1-2 minutes. Frozen fruit can be substituted for fresh if necessary. Make sure to thoroughly blend the soy shake if using frozen fruit. You may need to blend for an extra thirty seconds to one minute.

  3. Step 3

Stop the blender and scrape the sides of the container with a rubber spatula, as needed, to ensure ingredients are evenly distributed.

  4. Step 4

Pour into a chilled glass. Serve the fruit and soy shake immediately.
