Things You'll Need:
- 1 Small stuffed bunny toy, about 3 inches, found at craft stores
- 1 Pretty flower or vegetable seed packet
- 1 Small round magnet
- Easter grass, any color
- Glue
-
Step 1
This is so easy that you can let your kids have some fun and let their creative juices flow!
All you do is simply cut the top of the seed packet, empty out the seeds (plant in a pot or flower bed or garden later), and then stuff the packet with a small amount of the Easter grass, till it is overflowing out of the top of the packet. -
Step 2
Make a little "hole" in the grass and put the bunny in, feet down and head popping up out of the top of the packet. You can glue the bunny's bottom to the grass, or not. Lay the bunny packet face down, and glue the round magnet to the middle of the back of the packet. Once dry, put it on the fridge or you can skip the magnet part and simply make a few of these to grace your table. You can glue the bunny packets around the sides of a large pillar candle (DO NOT LIGHT CANDLE). Or I like to make one for each guest on Easter dinner and put the bunny packet in the middle of each plate before serving. Everyone enjoys their own-and I do glue the magnet in that case so that it is functional for their homes.

Step 3
You can use straw, green yarn, or craft moss instead of Easter grass. You can also use other animals for year round use. Just don't glue the bunny and you can switch out animals as your mood takes you. If you want a garden type theme (great gift tag for the gardener friend) then glue a dollhouse rake or small dollhouse watering can to the front of the packet. Fun!
