How to find free drinks at NYC Restaurants and Bars

NYC is not only one of the best cities in the world, but it is also one of the most expensive. There are a ton of outstanding bars and restaurants in NYC that an ordinary person could not normally afford to drink at. Even beer is crazy expensive. I don't feel like paying $15 for a beer that I should be able to buy for $2.

There is an amazing website available that posts cheap open bars and or free drink nights! What more could anyone ask for? This website is advertised a lot on the radio and several of my friends use it regularly, so I thought I would share it with the world. The more beer the better!

1. Go to http://nyc.myopenbar.com/
   
   The website is extremely organized and user friendly. You can select which day of the week that you are looking for any deals, or you can stay on the current day.
   
   The bars and specials are listed, as well as the address of the bar, some informative reviews, and all of the remaining details.
   
   This site is priceless to anyone who wants to have a fun on a tight budget. There is no need to be paying $15 per drink when you can pay $5 for a 3 hour open bar.

2. There is also a photo section on the top of the page that shows some pretty insane pictures of the bars and restaurants. You often can get a good feel of a bar just off of these pictures alone.

3. On the right hand side of the page, you can sign up for weekly email mailings of all of these specials that way you don't have to keep checking the website.
