Things You'll Need:
- Blow dryer and vent brush
- Hair Serum
- Hair spray

Step 1
If your ultimate goal is smooth straight hair, you need to use your blow dryer. Use a mouse or heat protectant on your wet hair. Use a vent brush and your blow dryer, separate into sections if necessary. When the hair is perfectly dry, move onto the serum stage below.

Step 2
If your hair is curly hair, do this step when it's damp. If it's straight, do this after it's dry.
There are wonderful products that help with frizzy hair. Any product that has a silicon derivative in it will work. They're usually called serums and look like oil. Paul Mitchell sells a good one, called Superslick, so does Biosilk. For your money though, I like the one that Walmart sells called Frizzease. -
Step 3
A couple drops on your palmPut a couple drops on your palm, now rub your hands together. This will warm and emulsify the product. Do not pat your hair! Instead, work your fingers through your hair, as the hair brushes against your palm, the product will be transferred onto your hair.

Step 4
Gorgeous, defined curls can be yoursBefore you head out for the day, if you live in humid weather you might give your hair a light dusting of hair spray (it doesn't have to be stiff, there are lots with a loose hold). This will keep the hair cuticle nice and protected, less likely to frizz over the course of the day.
