Step 1
Establish a regular bed time and wake up time. If you wake up at the same time for long enough, your body will learn to wake up around that time automatically.
-
Step 2
Try keeping the blinds open so that natural light can wake you up.
-
Step 3
If you have a roommate who gets up before you, ask them to wake you up.
-
Step 4
Get a cat and train it to wake you up at your desired time by feeding it at that time. As the cat gets hungry, it will wake you up for food without the need of a loud alarm clock.
-
Step 5
If none of the above mentioned natural ways of waking up works for you, try using a quiet and vibrating alarm clock. All you need to do is put it under your pillow, and it will shake and wake you up. These clocks are also useful for deaf people or people with hearing loss.
