How to two tone your hair!

Difficulty: Moderately Challenging
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Two different colors of hair dye.
  1. Step 1

First thing you need to do is pick your colors. One for the top and one for the bottom. The colors are very important, so think it over very carefully. There is no turning back once you get started. Be sure you pick colors that look good together.

  2. Step 2

What I do is I start at the top of my ears, and make a part all the way around the back of my head. The darker color goes on the bottom half and the lighter on the top.In my experiences I have found that its best to do the bottom first. After you color be sure to rinse so the water runs down. Dont want the color on the top half.

  3. Step 3

Then you can do the top half. After coloring is done rinse the top half in the sink, so it stays off bottom half. You want to avoid any bleeding of the two colors.

Tips & Warnings
  • Do either color first, just make sure you finish one before you start the other. It is very important to keep the two colors seperate to make it turn out right.
  • I do this to myself so I have to be extra careful. My husband helps me with the part but thats about it. Takes some patients but you can do it!! You can make the part where you think is best for you.
