High Blood pressure is known as the silent killer. It is the fourth leading disease responsible for death in America. You can reduce your blood pressure by eating healthy. this is how.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

High Blood pressure can be lowered by eating healthy. Many foods we eat will help lower your blood pressure. But first you should avoid certain food types.

Most Americans have 2 times more sodium in their diets. This is the reason for the high incidence of high blood pressure, diabetes, obesity (sodium cuases your body to retain water) and many other diseases. A diet rich in fruit and vegetables can easily produce a ratio of 100:1 potassium to calcium because all fruit and vegetables have a ratio of at least 50:1.

  4. Step 4

Drink Plenty of Water and get regular physical exercise. These activities help you lower your blood pressure and lose weight. Excess weight is also a cause or symptom of high blood pressure, its a mean circle.
