Step 1
The first step to finding cheap online hotel reservations is to find a website that compares different hotels to each other. There are many such websites, many of the best ones are the same sites that you probably also use to book your airline tickets. I usually use Obitz or Travelocity, but frankly, I suggest you go straight to the Orbitz website. I find that they usually have the best hotel reservations for the best prices. I've included a link below that you can use to search for some of the Orbiz site's best hotel reservations.

Step 2
Once you are on a travel website, don't go straight to the hotel booking section, because sometimes by looking quickly around the page, you will find links that you can click for limited time offers and seasonal deals. When you finally do go to the hotel booking page, you simply enter the dates of the online hotel reservation, the city that you are traveling to, and several other preferences.

Step 3
After a second of searching, all of the available online hotel reservations are displayed one after another on your computer. You can now compare the hotels to one another in such categories as, price, amenities, and ranking. Most of the listings even have pictures of the hotels and reviews posted by previous guests. All of this information should give you a pretty good idea of which online hotel reservation is right for you.

on 11/5/2009 Hey cccard123, how about you include something about hotel aggregators? You know websites that search other websites for the best deals. Example kayak.com, hotelagent.org, etc...
