1. Check out LessonPlansPage.com for teacher resources for all age groups. You might want to start with its "Lesson Plan Guide -- 10 Steps To Developing A Quality Lesson Plan." From there, you've got several options for math worksheets, science projects, language arts activities and more. You also can join free for more benefits, or become inspired by its stories on teachers making a difference.

2. Go to Education-world.com, where the "Lesson Planning Channel" front page features seasonal lessons -- Presidents Day, Black History Month, Dental Health Month -- plus a "Lesson Plan of the Day." Use the left-side navigation bar to find word games, sudoku, five-minute fillers, or lesson plans by subject.

3. Try Teacher Planet if you want variety: There are more than 12,000 selections. Top features include "Water Conservation," which includes plans, worksheets and additional resources, and "Rights & Responsibilities," a group of lessons and activities that address discrimination, body image and a host of other topics that teenagers and preteens deal with on a daily basis.
