How to Become a Witch In The Sims 2
In the expansion pack "The Sims 2: Apartment Life," your female Sim can become a witch, who can learn magic and cast spells. You can choose to make your Sim into a good witch or a bad witch, which will effect the types of spells that you can use. The type of spells that your Sim casts can also change your Sim to become more good or more evil. In order to become a witch, your Sim must first meet an existing witch or warlock, and become their friend.

Launch the "The Sims 2: Apartment Life" game, and choose to play the family with the Sim you'd like to turn into a witch.

Select the Sim and instruct her to visit a community lot, such as a store or a park. It does not matter which community lot you visit, there is a chance for a witch or warlock to visit the lot, just like a normal Sim. The witch or warlock will have a special appearance, including a witch or wizard's pointed hat, magic robes, and will look different depending on whether they are good or evil.

Click on witch or warlock, and "Greet" them to introduce your Sim.

Use friendly interactions, such as "Chat" and "Joke," just as you would any other Sim, to increase your Sim's friendship rating with the witch or warlock.

Continue to use friendly interactions until your Sim has reached a "Friend" status. You may not be able to do this all in one visit. You may need to call the witch or warlock and invite them to your Sim's house to continue to work up her friendship status.

Click on the witch or warlock, and select "Teach Me the Ways of the Light," or "Teach Me the Path of Darkness." The option will be different depending on if the witch or warlock is good or evil. This option will only appear if your Sim has a high enough friendship status with the witch or warlock. Once the witch or warlock teaches your Sim magic, she will turn into a witch.

Tips & Warnings
You may need to wait some time before the witch or warlock visits the same community lot that you visit.
If you don't find a witch or warlock on your first visit to a community lot, keep visiting different lots on different days. Their appearance will be random.
