As women age, everything in the body begins to droop and lose its firmness. One of the first body parts to go are the breasts. This also happens after a woman has a child, and progressively worsens with each child. This is the natural order of life when gravity is involved, but is there a way to prevent it? Aside from getting cosmetic surgery, there is no way to actually prevent breasts from sagging. However, it can be prolonged.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Sports bra Lotion
  1. Step 1

Tone up. To help prevent sagging, you will need to keep your pectoral muscles toned. Push-ups will do the trick. Begin with 15 push-ups per day. You can increase the number as they get easier. If 15 is too much start with, try 10. If you don't like the traditional push-ups, try using the wall.

  2. Step 2

Wear a sports bra when working out. This includes running, walking and jogging. It is also important to wear the correct size.

  3. Step 3

Get a regular massage. If you don't feel comfortable having a professional do it, ask your partner or do it yourself. Get a good massage oil and massage your breasts every day. This will keep the blood circulating properly and help with elasticity.

  4. Step 4

Moisturize daily. Purchase a lotion with aloe vera and use it twice a day, morning and night. This helps keep the skin in good condition and also helps maintain elasticity.

  5. Step 5

Go without a bra, except when working out. New studies, while still inconclusive, seem to show that bras actually cause breasts problems and sagging. This is thought to happen because after years of being supported by a bra, the ligaments that normally hold up the breasts are no longer needed, and eventually deteriorate.

Tips & Warnings
  • Always consult a doctor before beginning a workout routine.
  • If you feel pain at anytime while working out, stop immediately
