Out of town?

Going to be out of town for a few days, but don't want to get behind on your blog? It's easier than you think to schedule your future posts on Blogger.com. Just follow these few simple steps, and you won't lost any of your audience while you are gone.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • computer
  1. Step 1

Write your post. Make sure it's the way you want it to appear when it's published.

  2. Step 2

Above Publish post, there is a button called Post Options. Click on that button.

  3. Step 3

A gray box will pop up under post options. On the right, you will see the current date and time. Type over that date and time with the date and time you want your future posts to be published.

  4. Step 4

Click on the publish button. Your post will get a confirmation message that the post will be automatically published on the scheduled date. When the scheduled date arrives, your post will be published.

Tips & Warnings
  • You can also use the time and date function to have your post stay on the top of your blog. Just publish the post on the current date, then click edit, change the date to a future date, and republish the post. This is a great way to highlight a post you really want to be seen.
