If your baby has really bad dandruff on their head it is probably cradle cap. It is not painful but looks funny. Here are some easy steps to get rid of cradle cap.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

    The first step in getting rid of cradle cap is to rub a dime size amount of olive oil into your baby's head. Let sit for a few minutes.

  2. Step 2

    Take you baby comb and brush threw your baby's hair gently. Then you will want to gently rub your baby head with a wash cloth. It is important not to rub to hard so you don't irritate the scalp and make it red.

  3. Step 3

    Now rub a dime size amount of baby shampoo into your baby scalp. Let sit for a few minutes and rinse avoiding the eyes. You will need to repeat this every few days for a weak. After the first time the cradle cap will look much better. By the third time it should be mostly gone. Then do this once a weak if it starts to come back.

on 8/23/2009 I recommend olive oil too in my article, but it's not the only natural oil you can use. There are much more.
