Shovel your walk so that it looks spotless and has very little snow left on it.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • A broom possibly from the 99 cents store that has plastic bristles on it
  • A shovel with a plastic blade bottom
  • Cooking spray also from the 99 cents store
  • 2 containers of table salt also from the 99 cents store
  1. Step 1

Use the cooking spray on the plastic bottom of the shovel so that the snow glides off of it easier. Then shovel the snow away from the walkway by pushing the shovel in front of you underneath the snow.

Clear as much snow as you can by grabbing the snow by pushing the shovel face up underneath the snow and lifting the snow and tossing it aside in a pile.

Get your broom out and sweep the walkway clear of snow as fast as you can. Try to do the entire walkway in less than ten minutes. Sweep vigorously to remove as much snow as possible and make the walkway as clear as possible for the mailman, Fedex man and other service people.

Now to keep the walkway spotless and clear of snow, use the two containers of table salt and sprinkle loosely over the walkway to melt any incoming snow.

  • If you have a heart condition or are over 55 you may want to hire a teen to clear your walk for you.
