Meeting Wizard is an internet tool that makes meeting planning and response easier. The basic tool is free and requires that the meeting planner and invitees have email accounts.

As a meeting invitee, you will follow the simple steps below.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Computer
  • ISP
  • Email
  1. Step 1
    Example Email
    Example Email

You will receive an email from the meeting planner sent through Meeting Wizard. The email will instruct you to click on the link in the email to complete the meeting process.

Option A: If the email suggests dates for a meeting, the link will be to a simple on-line survey where you indicate your availability on times being proposed for scheduling the meeting.

Option B: If the email is an announcement of a scheduled meeting, then you get the option to RSVP instead of doing the survey, if the organizer indicated an RSVP is desired.

  2. Step 2

Once you have completed the date survey or RSVP on-line, you click the “Continue” button to send your response. Meeting Wizard will provide you an on-line verification of your response when it is sent.

  3. Step 3
    Example Response

After you have confirmed, as an invitee, you can view which of the other invitees have responded as well by choosing “View all responses” before exiting if the meeting organizer has made this option available.

  4. Step 4

After you exit, you should not need to do anything else until you get another email. The next email could be a confirmation of the date chosen by the meeting planner; a reminder prior to the scheduled meeting date, or notifying you the meeting has been cancelled.
