Things You'll Need:
- Olive Oil
- Lavender Oil(Essential Oil)
- Hot Water
- Cotton Balls
- Small Cup
- Chewing Gum
-
Step 1
First Method:
Warm up some olive oil in a bowl(not too hot, just until lukewarm)in the microwave. Dip a cotton ball into the oil and let it soak up a bit. Drip 5 drops of lavender oil directly onto the cotton ball and place the cotton into your affected ear. Do the same for other ear if necessary. -
Step 2
Second Method:
Warm up some olive oil in a bowl(not too hot, just until lukewarm)in the microwave. Dip a small spoon into the oil and while tilting your head to one side drip several drops into affected ear. Lie down to let the oil slide into the canal. Wait until you feel the pain lessen then to the same with opposite if needed. -
Step 3
Third Method:
Fill a small cup halfway with cottonballs. Pour hot water into the cut until cotton is throughly soaked. Drip several drops of lavender oil into cup. Tilting your head, cover affected ear with mouth of cup and let the steam enter your ear. The heat from the steam melts the earwax and the lavender relieves tension in the muscle.
