Want to send flowers anonymously?

Sending flowers anonymously is a lot easier than you might think. With just a little planning, you can keep the recipient of your floral bouquet guessing for a long while, unless they already suspect your love for them!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Reliable florist
  • A little creativity
  • Cash or credit card
  • Good communication
  1. Step 1

Your best bet in sending flowers anonymously is to use a local florist. That accomplishes two things: One, the management is usually willing to work with you to accommodate your request, and two, you're supporting local business!

  2. Step 2

There are online florists who will honor a request to send flowers anonymously. Usually, you can find if they will do that in their FAQ section, or by searching using the term "sending flowers anonymously".

  3. Step 3

Simply place your order and ask your florist to not include a card and not give out information if called about who sent the flowers. Most businesses will be willing to protect your privacy as a customer in order to ensure repeat business.

  4. Step 4

If you really want to include a card, have the card signed "???" or "Someone who loves you". This creates more mystery - but make sure your anonymity is well-intentioned.

Tips & Warnings
  • If you can, pay for your floral purchase in cash. That eliminates a "paper trail" from use of a credit card.
  • Always make your request respectful, and make sure it is well-intentioned.
  • If the florist refuses, there may be a policy in place, or they may have had a bad experience with sending anonymously in the past. Respect the florist's policy, and if you must, try another florist.
  • Don't ever send anything to someone maliciously or with ill intent. Remember, what goes around comes around!
