Step 1
Switch between open programs: Hold down the command button, and then while keeping it pressed, hit the tab button. Keep hitting the tab button until you get to the program that you are searching for.
Switch between open windows: Once again, hold down the command button, and then while keeping it pressed, instead of hitting the tab button, hit the tilda (`) key until you get to the window that you are looking for.
To get to the desktop: hit the function and f11 key. To get back to your program, hit the function and f11 key again.
To see your widgets: Hit the f4 button.
To see all of your open windows: hit f3. -
Step 2
Most programs share the same basic combinations for shortcuts.
Save: Command and S
Copy: Command and C
Cut: Command and X
Paste: Command and V
Undo: Command and Z
New: Command and N
Open: Command and O -
