It is quite an honor to be chosen, and there are many perks that go along with this distinction of being on the front page of a top 500 in popularity internet site. If you are lucky enough to have an article on their home page, you will get more views, and earnings. You also will get added credibility and a self esteem boost. Your eHow friends will congratulate you in the forums and send you notes of affirmation, and friend requests. Like anything else, this honor must be earned.

have a memorable avatar

If you are not already a member of eHow, it's easy to sign up. You have to be a U.S. citizen and have a paypal account if you would like to collect earnings from your articles. Complete your profile and choose a member name and avatar that are an appropriate reflection of your personality.

pull out your writing books

To have a featured article of the day on eHow, you need to have articles. Make sure they are high quality articles with fully developed paragraphs and good content. Use the spell check and reread your article several times to catch grammatical errors. Offer resources if possible. Include interesting photos as well.
