Things You'll Need:
- beads
- 2 head pins
- 2 earring wires
- round nose pliers
- wire cutters
-
Step 1
pink rhodonite & sterling silverFirst choose the beads, 2 headpins and 2 ear wires you would like to use in creating your new earrings. You can make multiple pairs at one time by using an assembly line method!
-
Step 2
Slide the beads onto the headpins in the desired order.
-
Step 3
Using your round nose pliers, create a loop with the wire. Trim the excess wire with the wire cutters. Use the needle nose pliers to close the loop.
-
Step 4
Then open the ear wires opening with the needle nose pliers. It is best to do this by opening the loop slowly away from you (so the loop does not get distorted). Insert ear wire through the loop of the earrings. Use the pliers to close the opening by slowly moving the loop towards you.
-
Step 5
Wear and show off your new earrings. Be sure to let everyone know you made them yourself!

on 3/16/2009 I've made these before, and they last a long time. A great crafting project for teenage girls too. It's a wonderful way to personalize your jewelry.5*

on 2/8/2009 I love dangling earrings. The hooks are so much better than the clip-ons and the posts. Now, I can use this article to try to make my own. Thanks for the info.
