Cook Crockpot BBQ Pork Sandwiches

I made this often. I had it memorized it is very simple to
make and it is delicious.

There are a lot of one dish dinners made to day in the
crockpot and a variety of crockpot recipes to choose from.

I try to find the simple ones and the ones that don't call
for a lot of ingredients.

My family loved this one and they requested it often.
Because they could make a quick sandwich for an on the go
occasion. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

    • 1

You will need a pork loin, or a pork roast, or a similar kind of pork
A large white sweet onion. Cut in half.

A bottle of BBQ sauce ( 1/2 bottle will do for a 2-3 pound pork.

    • 2

In a pan, brown the pork (it keeps the meat juices in), add 1/2 the onion
on the bottom of the crockpot and put the pork on top of the onion
and then put the other half of the onion on top of the pork.

Cover the crockpot and cook it on low for approximately 6 hours (depending on
size of your meat). After cooking for six hours or so remove the meat and let
it cool so you can use a fork to shred the meat.

    • 3

Remove meat juices and onion from the crockpot and add the shredded meat and the
BBQ sauce. Cover and cook for 1-2 hours.

Your home will smell just like a BBQ place and the family will love it
