Need something quick to fix for dinner? Give Sweet and Sour Chicken a try! Your family will love this quick and easy recipe for Sweet and Sour Chicken. The addition of crushed pineapples really adds a zest to the sweet and sour sauce.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 pound Walmart Deli Chicken Tenders
  • 2 jars of La Choy Sweet and Sour Sauce
  • 1 small can (6 oz) of crushed pineapple
  • 1 bag frozen broccoli and cauliflower
  • 1 package rice
  1. Step 1

Purchase one pound of cooked chicken tenders from the Walmart deli. If you don’t like those, choose another brand of precooked chicken tenders. I have also had good results from Tyson frozen chicken tenders. Of course, they need to be cooked before you follow the next step.

  2. Step 2

Cut the chicken tenders into small pieces. Put the chicken in a large skillet and mix in the sweet and sour sauce and the crushed pineapple (do not drain). Cook on medium heat for about 10 minutes to heat thoroughly.

  3. Step 3

While the chicken is cooking, cook the broccoli and cauliflower according to package directions. When it is done, mix the cooked broccoli and cauliflower in with the sweet and sour chicken.

  4. Step 4

Cook the rice according to package directions.

  5. Step 5

Spoon rice onto a plate or bowl and top with the sweet and sour chicken mixture. Enjoy!
