This is a quick and easy tomato bruschetta recipe. This bruschetta makes a very tasty party appetizer or just a good snack.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 3 tablespoons pesto
  • baguette
  • 3 tomatoes
  1. Step 1

The first step in making your tomato bruschetta is to preheat you oven to 450 degrees. Cut the tomatoes into large dice.

  2. Step 2

Then you will want to place your tomatoes in a bowl and add pesto sauce.
Mix so that the tomatoes are covered. You can use my recipe for pesto sauce. The link is in the resource section.

  3. Step 3

You will want to cut your baguette into 1/2 inch slices. Let the bread sit out for a few hours to get stale. Then drizzle with olive oil and bake in oven at 450 degrees until light golden brown.

  4. Step 4

Top your toasted bread with tomato and pesto mixture. You can make both the toast and the tomato mixture the morning of your party but you will not want to add the tomatoes until right before you serve them.
