Things You'll Need:
- 2 - 10" Pie Pastry Crust
- 1 Cup Sugar
- 1/4 cup All Purpose Flour
- 3/4 tsp Ground Cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp Ground Nutmeg
- Dash of Salt
- 8 Medium Pared Cooking Apples (Cut into small pieces)
- 4 Tbsp whipping Cream (Heavy Cream)

Step 1
Heat oven to 425*. Mix sugar, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt in a mixing bowl. Stir apples into sugar mixture and stir until they are coated. Place bottom pastry crustin a regular pie plate, 10 x 1 1/2. Put apple mixture on top of the pastry crust in the pie plate. Drizzle about 3 tablespoons of whipping cream on top of the apple mixture.

Step 2
Cover the apples with the top pastry crust. Cut slits in the top. Brush the remaining whipping cream on the top of the pastry crust.

Step 3
Place aluminum foil around the edge of the crust to prevent excessive browning. Remove the aluminum foil 15 minutes before the end of the baking time. Bake for 40 to 45 minutes or until crust is brown and the juice begins to bubble.
