Things You'll Need:
- Glue
- Scissors
- Large white construction paper (9x13)
- Other color construction paper
- Printer
- White printer paper

Step 1
First find the Hello Kitty coloring page you want to base your design on. There are many available online if you google "Hello Kitty coloring." Save the image you like (right-click and "save"). If your image has other "stuff" in it beyond Hello Kitty then open the image in an image editor and "crop" out what you don't want and all the white area as well around Hello Kitty. You want to be able to make Hello Kitty as large as you can...see the next step.
-
Step 2
Open a new Word Document. Go up to "File" and "page set-up" and enlarge the margins to be as big as your printer will allow - most printers allow .2 as the smallest margin (largest print area). Next you want to get your Hello Kitty coloring page image into the document. Go up to "Insert" and "Picture" then "From File."
-
Step 3
Next you want to enlarge the Hello Kitty image as much as you can by stretching the image within the document. Ideally you want to use two pages for this to make HK very big! If you're using a horizontal HK, change the "layout" under "page setup" to "landscape." Then decide at what point is the halfway point for the image. Copy the HK image and put it on the second page of the document. Crop and stretch both HK copies on each page until each half (and make sure each half will line up when printed out) covers the page its on. This will take some time and tweaking but it's worth it and not very hard!
-
Step 4
Once you have each half as you like it, print them out. Then get out your white construction paper and hold the printed-out pages on top and cut out Hello Kitty. If something on her, like her bow, is in the way just ignore it for the time being. Then do the same for her bow, her clothes, etc. Just print out more copies so you can cut out each element.

Step 5
Glue all the elements together including the eyes! It is so cute!
