Being sexy is not about what you wear, it's about your state of mind. Not the state of Maine. But you may need to venture afar mentally to change how you feel about your sexy quotient. If only sexiness could be packaged. Well, actually, it has been. It's relaxing patiently in that wonderful mind of yours, awaiting your access code.

1. WHO CARES ABOUT NUMBERS? Age or weight. You just need to observe those large and luscious women who are sexy. Or the scrawny meatless ones. They woke up one morning, looked in the mirror and made a decision. And the whole world followed. Because the minute you decide you're sexy, the numbers on the scale lose all their meaning. Those flabby parts you think are unattractive, and never tell anyone about, will suddenly not matter. You're too sexy to care.

2. HOW DO YOU MOVE? Being sexy is about how you move in space. Are you a clunker when you walk? No wonder you don’t feel sexy. How about gliding instead? How about movin’ the toosh? Can’t remember how? Get a hula hoop… Get that body moving! Do the Tom Cruise dance in your living room. Nobody's watching. Feel the groove.

3. ARE YOU RELAXED? You can't do the sexy if you're always looking at a "to do" list. You have to stop running around. The great sexy's of history always had the adorers at their feet. How can anyone adore you if you're busy in the kitchen flippin' pancakes? Learn to relish the horizontal position, without trying to sleep.

   LOOK FOR INSPIRATION. What is sexy to you? Let's pick a few timeless sexy icons. Hmmm... Eve, the original sexy, Sophia Loren, Beyonce, Cleopatra, Marilyn Monroe, Eartha Kitt (bless her recently departed, sexy soul), Uma Thurman, Salma Hayek, Halle Barry, Elizabeth Taylor, Angelina Jolie, Wonderwoman and Marge Simpson (huh?). Why are we listing the competition? Well, nobody is competing. All these women, including you, are sexy. We can't compare them to each other. How can you say a rose is more beautiful than an orchid? You are a unique flower, just like the rest of these women. Tend to your garden and let it flourish. The world is waiting.

So feel it on the inside, to be the sexy woman you desire, your clothes shopping can wait.
