Things You'll Need:
- Soil of celery, peat and sand. If you do not find this kind of soil you can choose one that is not rich in acidity.
- Gerbera seed
-
Step 1
Before planting the gerbera you should make a hole of 60 cm deep, clean the ground if you find leafage and roots.Gerbera, the seeds, is always planted on the surface of the ground, never too deep. Wet the ground with water so that the soil can be humid permanently, but be careful not to wet the leafage to often.
-
Step 2
If the ground is not as rich as you think, you can use a liquid fertilization, thin with water. The light it is an important factor in growing gerbera. The plant is sensible to direct light, especially during the lunch time, so plant the flower in a place where there is enough light but not much.
-
Step 3
The temperature should be between 10-21 C especially when it is blossoming. Gerbera is very sensible when it comes to the mushroom putrefaction so take immediately the old and withered leafage that can appear.
