How to Make Your Dog Happy

Want a happy dog? Follow these easy steps!

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

• dog
• treats
• couch
• dog brush
• cats, kids (optional)

1. Let your dog sleep on your couch...or your bed...or your lap...or anywhere else your dog wants to sleep. Having free reign over the house makes them happy!

2. Feed your dog plenty of treats, including table scraps and fast food. They love it and it definitely makes them happy! Make sure they always have fresh water to drink, too! All the sodium in the fast food makes them really thirsty!

3. Spend lots of time talking to and praising your dog. Not only does this make your dog happy, it should make you happy, too. Everyone loves praise, especially when it comes in the form of a high, squeaky voice. I know it makes me and my dog happy!

4. Provide your dog with lots of fun toys like rawhide bones, plushies that squeak, slippers, chair legs, brushes, priceless wood carvings...whatever the little sweetheart wants. Speaking of brushes, brushing your dog will make them happy.

Tips & Warnings

• If you have kids, have them run and squeal. The dogs love to chase them when they do this.
• If you have cats, allow the dog to chase them. Kitties love it, too. They're "playing!"
• never let your dog actually catch the kids or cat
• remember, your dog should buckle up for safety in the car, too!
• I'm mostly joking!!! The parts about clean water, praise, brushing and buckling up for safety in the car are true and highly recommended.
• Only provide your pup with appropriate dog food, toys and treats
• As for sleeping wherever they want to, well, that's up to you. If you do let them sleep on the furniture, don't get mad at them when they shed on it!
