Step 1
VOLUNTEERMATCH.ORG- Go to this website to begin the process of finding volunteer position that are available in your community or city.

On the Volunteer Match website enter your zip code or city's name. If you live in a large city, I recommend entering your zip code. This will ensure you will find the volunteer positions that are closest to you.

Also, next to the box where you entered your zip code or city, you can insert the type of work you are wanting to find. For example, if you want to find a position working in a hospital type in the word "hospital".

Step 4
Look at the list of volunteer jobs that are available near you. If you find one that interests you click on it.

Click on the "I want to help" link. If you do not have a Volunteer Match account, you will need to create an account before you can volunteer for a position.

Step 6
Give your information so the organization can contact you about setting up a time you can volunteer.

Go out and serve your community!
