Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • rattail comb
  • rubberband
  • patience
  1. Step 1

    Part hair in the direction that you want the cornrow to go in. You can make the part thin or thick. It just depends on how you want the cornrow to look.

  2. Step 2

    At the beginning of the part grab three pieces of hair. Make sure they are all the same size

  3. Step 3

    Hold the left strand between the left thumb, middle, and index finger. Hold the right strand with your right thumb and middle finger. Hold the middle strand with your right index finger and thumb

  4. Step 4

    Take the right strand cross under the middle strand. Use the left index finger and grab the right strand. Your middle strand now becomes your right strand.

  5. Step 5

    Take the right strand and cross under the middle strand grabbing the left strand with your right index finger. Repeat steps while picking up small sections of hair as you go. Place a rubberband on end of hair to secure braid

  • Practice, Practice, Practice because you will not get this over night
