Are you short of money and ideas on what to give your sweetie for Valentine Days? Do you want to give a little more than flowers or candy? Then read on for some ideas.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Think about what your sweeties favorite things are. Do they like to ski, listen to music, collect beer steins or pink poodle sweaters? Everyone has a favorite thing that they like.

  2. Step 2

Consider the game aisle at your local store and look for basic games like Yahtzee or Scrabble or a 10,000 piece puzzle that you and your sweetie can spend quality time together doing. Poor a couple of glasses of champagne, cheese and apples, and lower the lights and play a board game.

  3. Step 3

Shop at a 99 cent store and fill a basket with stationary items, small cans of after shave or lotions, etc., until you fill the basket.

  4. Step 4

Write down the things that you love about your mate, draw a portrait of them or even write a short poem and put it in silver frame and give it to them.

  5. Step 5

Take an ordinary object and make it special by putting their name or initial on it. Whether it's a scarf or a pillow case, you can use embroidery thread or craft paint to make it custom and special just for them.

  6. Step 6

Repair something for them. Is their necklace broken or a stone missing out of their ring, has their Ipod frozen up or their car window broken? Have it fixed for them and surprised them.

  7. Step 7

Don't over look something as simple as a home-cooked meal. Add their favorite dessert and you have a thoughtful gift that will be remembered for years to come.
