How to Schedule a Routine Scan for Viruses in McAfee
Once you have installed antivirus software and allowed it to completely scan your computer once, real-time scanning helps to prevent new infections from entering the computer. However, it can still be wise to perform full scans periodically to minimize the possibility of a virus infection. By scheduling a routine scan in McAfee AntiVirus Plus, you can make sure that routine scans take place when you are not using the computer so system resources are not consumed when you need them for other tasks.
