Make your own Bug Spray

Make your own homemade earth friendly Insect Repellent!

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • JoJoba Oil
  • Vodka
  • Various essential oils- geranuim, cedarwood, sandalwood, lime, lavendar, pine, sweet bay
  • Empty spray bottle
  1. Step 1

To help insects avoid you.... spray this mist on the exposed areas of your body before going outside. Rub the Jojoba oil onto your skin before you spray the repellent- only spray a minimal amount

Start by re-using a empty spray bottle (the pump type work best--- hairspray- hairgel-or even window cleaner bottles). Clean and dry the bottle well.

  • Spray outside in on your deck or patio for a fresh scent that will also help keep bugs at bay!
  • Safe- natural spray will not hurt the environment
  • Remember essential oils are very highly concentrated- you should always dilute them before using them on your skin. As break outs or rashes can occur.
