Cleanse the skin with a good face cleanser. Pat skin dry wiht a soft towel, then rub in a dot of face moisturizer.

    • 2

Apply a primer all over your skin, including eyelids. Primer is a flesh-colored product that gets the skin ready for makeup so you have a smooth finish.

    • 3

Cover any scars or blemishes on the face with a flesh-colored concealer. Apply the concealer by putting some product on your finger, then dabbing it over the marks on your skin.

    • 4

Apply foundation to the face. Squirt some foundation onto your hand, then use you fingers to pick up some product and rub into the skin. Dust a face powder over it, using a fluffy makeup brush, to set the makeup on your face.

Apply a neutral eyshadow pallette to eyelids. Use three colors blended together to get a natural look. Dust the darkest color along the crease of your eyelid, using a thin eyeshadow brush. Dust the second-lightest color over the eyelid, and dust the lightest color along the brow bone. Use the eyeshadow brush to blend the three together.

Apply a black or brown eyeliner to the upper and lower lash line. Pull the skin near your eye, using a finger to gently pull the skin taut. Line the lash lines with the eyeliner, running the eyeliner as close to the lash line as possible.

    • 7

Put on mascara one coat at a time. If you want thicker lashes, apply two or three coats, but pause between applications to let the mascara dry before putting on more.

    • 8

Dab some foundation onto your lips, then line with a lipliner that is close to your skin color. This keeps the lipstick from bleeding. Apply a thin layer of lipstick over this, and add a dab of lipgloss to the center of the upper and lower lip.

Dab a fluffy makeup brush into a pot of blush and apply to the apples of your cheeks. Smile to see where the apples of your cheeks are, and sweep the makeup brush along the cheek, moving the brush away from your nose.
